if i am blessed enough to find a job there with acceptable salary, i will have Three concerns: Where is the nearest "taser store"... how would I find a place to live in a city of 3 mil?.. Will I become one of those douschebags that constantly says " DA BEARS!"

bahhh it's been a while. I wish I blogged more- kinda forgot I had it. First day of school today.. worked out, bought a bottle of wine. That's a productive monday lol.

OHHH the Royal Wedding. I stayed up (alone, surrounded by all my passed out friends) until 6 AM, shed a few tears (embarrassed? nope) when Kate exited the carriage, and had goosebumps the entire time. In a world where all we hear about is sky-high gas prices, wars in the middle east, missing children and soldiers, bankrupt families, and unemployment rates, finally.. a Wedding. It was beautiful, and Kate looked stunning- Harry wasn't too bad either ;)

It was full of hope, optimism, and joy.. William is fufilling Diana's legacy by marrying for love, and solely love, and you could sense Diana's presence in the room. She would have been SO proud. I loved seeing our mother country united for such a great occasion. WOW! Just breathtaking.

Anyway... my favorite designer has been decided.

OKAY, I admit it.. I have Royal Wedding fever! Am I going to be alone, up at 3 AM Friday morning, cuddled in a blanket drinking tea, desperately waiting to see Kate's dress?! I am just so excited I cannot stand it. I have watched every TV special, the Lifetime movies TWICE, and google search "kate middleton wedding dress" every morning when I wake up.

But.. has anyone else noticed how Lauren Conrad = Blonde Kate Middleton? It's freakin uncanny...

i've been a big BEP fan since I was 15.. I remember buying their first album, bootlegged in Mexico City and listening to it on my portable CD player in the bus LOL. This is another dope song by them, just wish Will-I-Am would cut it out w/ all the autotune.. even on britney's "big phat bass!" holy autotune, britney!

*I was the youngest full-timer (and one of only 3 women) full time at best buy. Also I was the only female in home theater. BAMF?? 

*I have never gotten a speeding ticket, been in an accident, or received a fine for a traffic violation. But I have been pulled over 8 times. ;)

*I will act redneck and sing country at the rose, accentuate my half-Mexican-ness when a hip hop song comes on,  be passing out on Saturday night, & passing the plate at church on Sunday morning. :)

*Talk to at least one immediate family member every single day.
*Go to church every Sunday, and try to go in the morning. The feeling leaving church, with the sun shining, is the best feeling.
*When you have money problems just remember, "you can't take it with you when you go."
*Only drink on the weekend, and when those glorious days come, drink Pinot with every meal ;)
*If there is music, and you are with your dear friends, dance. Always.
*Dogs will become your best friends.
*Remember there is always something to be grateful for.
* 8 hours of sleep EVERY night.

*If you're going out to dinner, try to have a healthy lunch & breakfast.

I have a vision I will be 25, exhausted from my day at my office, & I will come home sporting a black pencil skirt with a light blue, tucked-in, button down shirt from J. Crew. My hair is long brown, curled in. I pour myself a glass of red wine, and before I go to change my outfit to meet my fabulous Sex & the City-esque friends, I will sit down, close my eyes, sip my wine, and listen to this song...





Also, today was the Super Bowl. Winning commercial of the day?

I mean come on, they have Glee, Friends, How I Met Your Mother, & a South Park clip that has a snowman in the background wearing an Elway jersey.

If I die before I wake, I pray the Lord my soul to take...

The past year, don't know why, I have had a major push in my life for religion. Oddly enough, I am the one pushing myself.
Why do some people have a huge issue with religion? I mean, what's so bad about it?? Okay, so their are corruptions and abuses of power, but the good outweighs the bad ten-fold. Basically, most religions want people to be selfless, forgiving, happy, and grateful. What's so wrong with that?
It is unifying, calming, and a release if you ask me... and it really took me 21 years to realize this. How is it I went to Catholic school K-12... but only actually went to church on my own and LISTENED for myself the past couple months? It's nice to know God is on your side, especially when you feel so helpless... you can tell yourself it's in God's hands. It's nice knowing their is a power stronger than you... it's not all on your back.
I don't know, just my thoughts. Not too preachy I hope... because religion really shouldn't be like that.


I believe there's a pride thats stunning,


And I believe in the kingdom coming

Oh mannn everytime I go to Huffingtonpost.com my eyes are instantly blinded by another awful, terrible, horrifying headling about some chaos going on in the world.
When I walk through campus surrounded by 25,000 other students, and then I proceed to sit in a boring class for 5 hours, I feel so helpless and like I'm wasting my life.
It seems like everyone says this in their early 20s.. but my God, I just want to make a difference in this world.
